One of our favorite activities this week was making rainbows with a colorful variety of fruits and veggies!!  "Eat a rainbow" and keep your body healthy and strong. :)

oranges

carrots

pineapple and bananas

broccoli

blueberries

grapes and blackberries!

This sweet boy had a birthday and brought in special treats for us all! :)

Our color of the week was purple!  Mrs. Beth and each of the kiddos painted and counted seven big grapes using potatoes and purple paint!  how fun

MORE FALL FUN!

It was such a treat Thursday morning to see all these cuties come into class!!

The class always loves when Mrs. Jennifer gets to join us!

I was sure to take some pictures of our class in the Minds in Motion room this week and want to tell you how PROUD of them I am!!  They are doing a wonderful job staying in each of the stations during the songs and going to the next station once the next song starts.  (with a little help;)  This has taken lots of practice, and it is paying off!!  They have all been such great listeners!!

painting pumpkins with glue....

and using glitter all by ourselves... so fun.

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

painting orange pumpkins...

...and counting and gluing SIX pumpkin seeds to them.

This sweet boy brought in awesome snacks this week...
banana ghosts and cake pop ghosts!  The class loved them of course. :)

While singing "Apples and Bananas" why not break out this banana costume?  They didn't know what to think!! :)

They love our little song guessing which friend we're singing about... "I see someone with a zipper on his sweatshirt, and his name is.... "

A favorite book this week was There was an Old Woman who Swallowed a Bat. They thought it was sooo silly! ;)

They love our color songs!
This week we worked on black and reviewed orange.

H is for Halloween!  Each kiddo walked the H before going to snack.

Pumpkin scented play dough was a hit. (There is a homemade recipe online or you can just add pumpkin pie spice to orange play dough if you want to do this at home!  very easy and smells great:)

painting "Five Little Pumpkins"

In our last circle time, each child was given a couple baked pumpkin seeds to try.  Then we made a chart together....

Do you like pumpkin seeds?

They loved getting a sticker and choosing which side to put it on.

We also had a chance to open up another pumpkin.  Here we are scooping out the insides.

They loved our class Jack-o-latern and decided to name him "Jack". ;)

We had such a great week.  Hope you enjoyed the pictures!!
