In circle time, we acted out how the Earth turns each day.

One little boy asked why it gets dark each day and then got to act this out... Some of them seemed to grasp the concept a little bit!  

When taking this picture, the little sun wanted to get a little closer to his friend. :)

We had an astronaut visitor next door!!

Wow... Mrs. Kelly taught these kiddos so much about space and astronauts.

Winter Animals!

We had another fun week at preschool learning about winter animals, reviewing skills, and playing with our friends!

The class loved this fine motor activity!

Our sweet little class seriously amazes me at how well they listen in here!!  They all follow directions "like the big kids" when we switch stations.  We even had time this week to play a fun parachute game.  We worked on listening skills as we went "up, down, up down..." and as they listened for their name to be sung.  We all sang a song about the letter of each child's first name and the sound it makes as that child ran and danced under the tent. They are still getting the hang of this game, but they did awesome for their first time Thursday.  With more practice, they will be pros, and it will be a great way to get wiggles out and to review sounds of letters.

With Mrs. Beth, the kiddos made adorable polar bear handprint pictures.  They used fine motor muscles to make snow from Q-tips all by themselves.  They always love painting!
