Dinosaurs!

We had such a great week in kinder-prep learning around our fun dinosaur theme!

Our classroom was full of all things DINOSAUR!

Dinosaur books!

Dinosaur activities (like this color by sight word and color the shapes:)

... dinosaur puzzles...

...a fun dinosaur sensory bin!

... and we even painted with dinosaurs to make dinosaur prints! :)

The kiddos are enjoying all the new tabletop centers in the morning!

Each morning we get to share a carpet time with Mrs. Tracy's class to learn our Christmas songs!

Letter of the week: Gg :)

Color of the week: GRAY!

Look at these READERS!!  :) :)
Our new sight words over the past few weeks have been: I, a, and see.  The class is also learning to recognize all the color words.   Together we read this sentence (reading our sight words, color word, and attempting to sound out the word, fox).  They did GREAT!!!  Some of the kiddos even wanted to read it all by themselves. :)

a puppet show! :)

so fun playing with friends :)

Mrs. Lois Wadsworth spoke with the kiddos about the children in Romania.  Here she is leading us in prayer for them... so sweet.

Here is our little jar for our classroom where our class can give money to help the sweet children in Romania.  All donations are so appreciated!

Minds-in-MOTION!! :)

We also had a wonderful visit from our Floyds Knobs fire department last week to follow up from our "Fire Safety" theme.  They were so great with the kiddos and taught them so much about what it means to be prevent fires and to be safe if they were ever in a fire.

Hope you enjoyed these pictures! Thanks for visiting our blog. :)
