PETS

We had another fantastic week in Kinder Prep!  

It was lots of fun to learn around our Pet theme! 

A highlight of the week for the kids was this "vet clinic".  

The veterinarians did surgery...

...wrote prescriptions...

...and gave shots. :)  

In circle time we are continuing to work on our daily calendar and weather.  

Our Weather Graph is filling up. :)  

Our letter of the week was F! 

(for Frog and Fish!!) 

We added the letter F to our alphabet books!  

(and had a little too much fun with these glue sticks! ;)  

We worked hard on our mini F book.  

We also reviewed the number 1 this week.

Teacher's Choice Center was "Name Station" on Monday.  Look at these hard workers!

So thankful for sweet Mrs. Jaime who filled in for me on Wednesday.  The class loved having her!

This was an Animal Hospital that the kids loved!!  They played with it all week!

Below was our first student of the day!  Every child will receive the little bag at some point to take home for the evening.  They will then get to fill it with five things about themselves to share with our class!  We will be taking turns in alphabetical order, by first names.

FAMILY / FRIENDS / SCHOOL

Our Friendships are Blooming! :) 

...and we learned a lot this week about family!  Here we are making our "Family Books".  

We have been focusing on recognizing our names.... 

...and our friends' names!  

The sensory bin was full of fun colorful rice and name tags with pictures of each of our friends in class.  The class had fun trying to find their names and their friends' names.  

Our library also has a book with pictures of all these friends and each of our names!  

We also did lots of fun activities for learning/reviewing the letter "L".  

Here we are gluing lions and lollipops to our letter L!  We had fun adding this letter to our Alphabet Books so we can take them home and practice with our families!!

We worked hard to trace and write our names!  We also focused on the color RED this week and how to spell it.  Each child traced the color word and colored the bird RED. Great work!! 

 We practiced the letter L, the number 0, and the shape circle as we played in the shaving cream!

Reading Center!

These friends are reading together and taking turns with our Leap Frog alphabet game.  

Here we are in the Minds-in-Motion room.  The kids loved it, and they did great!

We also enjoyed some beautiful days outside. :)  

We had another birthday this week!  She brought in a special "FROZEN" treat for everyone to enjoy. :)
