THANKSGIVING!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at preschool.  I hope you enjoy all these pictures of your sweet little turkeys. :)  We sure are thankful to have each of them in class this year!!

J is for JUMP! :)

Together, in circle time, we worked on making sentences with the sight words we've learned so far.  We made several sentences saying, "I see a _____ turkey."  (with different color sight words)  I had some smart little helpers!!

We had so much fun getting ready for our little Thanksgiving feast.  First, we made our own butter like the pilgrims used to do.  We put cream in a little container and all took turns shaking!!

We sang,
"Go, cream, go
Come, butter, come
shake, shake, shake
butter we will make!"

We made real butter!  Most of the kids wanted to try it, and everyone who tried it, loved it.

We then took turns adding fruit to our fruit salad.

TURKEYS

Our letter of the week was S, for SNOW!  After two snow days, what a better way to remember the letter S? :)

So much fun in the Minds-in-Motion room!

S for Snake! :)

What cute little turkeys this friend brought in for snack!!

so excited :)

We had such a great turnout for Christmas at Greenville!  Our little guys did such a wonderful job!  Thanks to those of you who were able to make it!  We missed those of you who couldn't. :)
