St. Patrick's Day & Rainbows

What a fun week celebrating St. Patrick's Day at preschool!

We had so much fun making these cute necklaces all while strengthening fine motor muscles and then practicing our last names! (edited for blog)

Rainbow Writing our last names!

Each student got a chance to participate in making sentences with our sight words!  We have some awesome READERS!! :) :)

What a SPECIAL performance on St. Patrick's Day.  A LAP daddy played the bag pipes for us!  So cool!

practicing our color sight words...

We are working so hard here practicing our cutting skills, gluing skills, and beginning letter sounds.

This cutie decided to put her necklaces on her headband. ;)

These guys love sight word bingo!!  We worked together in teams to cover each sight word that was read.

We have a winner!! :)

Our little students had such a wonderful week, they earned a marble jar party.  We got to make rainbow toast together!

Together we made colors of the rainbow from just the three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue.  We were reminded how to make the colors orange, green, and purple!

toasted with butter- YUMMY!

As we rotate through the class again, the star student will share special items about themselves to the class.  Then we will each practice writing that friend's name and drawing a picture of them.  Then we put all our pictures together to make a book for that one special star student to take home!
