Spiders, Bats, and more Fall Fun!

Here is another glimpse into our sweet 2 year old classroom! What a great week we had focusing on the color black, the letter "B", and more fall fun!
Some of the kiddos got to be "teacher" and point to the pictures as we sang our "Black Song".
Of course this age is all about some pretend play! And it is so good for their little minds. Here some of the girls are at the beauty shop. ;)
Eva and Mady Kate having a little TOO much fun at the water table!! :) so cute!
They loved playing with the pumpkins more this week, making "Mr. Pumpkin Heads" and sticking stickers to them. (Thank you to Evan for bringing extra stickers in!)
We had a "color sort" at one of the centers this week. This was another fun activity to help with sorting, color recognition, and developing fine motor skills!
"Play-dough faces" were a big hit in the play-dough center. It was cute to see how some of the kids even added hair.
The kids enjoyed this "candy match!" activity. They chose pictures of candy that they got from Halloween, chose matches, and glued them to their papers. They always feel so big when they get to glue. ;)
The kids' favorite book this week was There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Bat! We talked about how bats are black and start with the "B" sound. We also sang our "B" song as we worked on our papers below. They enjoyed gluing the beans to the B's.
Myla and Mallory working together. Sweet girls.
Yay Eden!
more sensory fun and sorting black from white:
Below Karsen is working on her fall tree. These turned out so cute! The kids always love paint and enjoyed getting to use their fingers this time!!
Hope you all are having a great weekend! Looking so forward to next Thursday. :)
