Thanksgiving
We had a great week learning around the theme of "Thanksgiving"! The kids loved making their sweet handprint turkey crafts...
This is a special one saved for the portfolios. They used their finger prints and thumbs to make this turkey!
T is for TURKEY!!
Reading about Clifford's Thanksgiving. :)
Fun with "Thanksgiving Cutting", Maddie learning to cut with those little fingers.
As always, the kids love the sensory tub. They especially loved our new "fun dough" this week (purchased from Trike-a-thon donations)!
As usual, we reviewed colors last week. We mostly worked on all our fall colors as we made the turkey crafts, but this fun color song reviewed green and blue also. The kids love to be my helper and point to the words the song is singing about.
There were lots of sweet smiles as we were singing "If you're thankful and you know it and your smile will really show it..." during snack time :)
Too sweet not to snap another picture! Love all those smiles!!
...and they all love to dance:) Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!! I will sure miss seeing all the kids next week. So THANKFUL to be their teacher... seriously they are such a blessing and joy to be with each week. See you all soon!
