What a fun and colorful week we had at preschool!
After reading about Noah's Ark in the Bible, we made these adorable handprint rainbows.
Our sensory bin was full of fun rainbow rice and St. Patrick's day coins!
Hey, there's a letter on there! :)
The kids have been having so much fun pretending to work at McDonald's. ;) They love using the cash register!
sorting rainbow colored noodles
Here we are in circle time making colored water with skittles!
WOW! Watching red and yellow skittles make ORANGE water is so cool. :) (they loved it!)
With Ms. Ann, they painted rainbows with skittle water!
They loved the yummy smell.
Here we are making a graph by sorting skittles by color. They did great with just a little help!
making cute rainbow noodle necklaces!
(and working out those little fine motor muscles ;)
In another circle time, we talked about the three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow.
We learned how the other rainbow colors are made from these three colors. Little helpers put food color in the milk. We made orange with red and yellow. green with yellow and blue...
...and purple with blue and red!
We also put drops of each color in this box. We watched it make a rainbow as we swirled it around!
