What a FUN Fire Safety week!!
The kiddos loved the visit from the Floyds Knobs Fire Department!!
Here the firemen are teaching that firemen are not scary. When the suit goes on, they are the same nice men. So if there is ever a fire emergency and children are in danger, they will know these are safe men who are there to help them. They don't have to be afraid of them!
This video taught our class a lot about fire safety. They learned to call "911" if there is ever an emergency. They also learned that if their clothes ever catch on fire, they are to "stop, drop, and roll." The video also encouraged families to have a plan in case a fire ever occurs at home. (just as schools have fire drills, homes should too!)
With all the rain this week, we had lots of time to play in the Minds-in-Motion room!
Some of the kiddos like to dance at the same time. :) :)
"Take my picture!" :)
We played "Pass the Beanbag!" They loved it! This game helps instill listening skills and helps to teach left from right.
This activity helps teach how to tell the difference from our three B color sight words: blue, black, and brown.
Our sweet "Star Student" is showing us items from the "All About Me" bag.
talking about writing their names and some pretend play in the background ;)
We love to hear their little discussions and to watch them pretend. So sweet!!
Another great week at preschool!!
Thank you for visiting! We hope you enjoy this little glimpse into your child's class this past week.
Have a WONDERFUL Fall Break!
See you in a couple weeks. :)
