Valentine's Day

Our class had a GREAT week learning around the fun theme of Valentine's Day!

The children had lots of fun at all the morning centers!  They used tweezers, pipe cleaners, and scissors all to strengthen those fine motor skills.

The kids also had a great time at the extra sensory bucket filled with pink and purple ice hearts.

Here the girls are painting their hearts to see what the secret message is.  Their names written with white crayon show up when painted with water colors. So fun!

Mrs. Tracy filled in for Beth on Thursday.  Here some of the girls are listening to her read a sweet Clifford Valentine book.  They were glued. ;)

We had a great Valentine party!!  They had so much fun decorating their cookies with icing and sprinkles.

This heart color sorting activity kept them very entertained. :)  They loved it and did great!

We always enjoy having special visitors. :)  Myla and her mama

Mallory and her daddy

Evan with his mommy and baby sister

...and Hadley with her mama and her baby Colt:)

The kids loved making you their special Valentine!

Fun with red play-dough and heart pictures at the play-dough center!

They loved using heart shapes and valentine colors in the art center.

Our letter of the week was V for Valentine's Day.  They used their gluing skills to glue valentine hearts to their V papers.  They did a good job!!

This was another wonderful activity for fine motor skills.  The class made heart shaped bracelets from beads and pipe cleaners.  I was so impressed with how well they did!  They loved it.

We had another birthday girl last week!  Myla turned three on Friday.  She brought in special ice cream treats and got to decorate a graham cracker with icing and sprinkles.  The class always loves to sing "Happy Birthday".  :)

LUNCH BUNCH PICS...

Hope you enjoyed pictures of your sweet kiddos.  Have a wonderful week!
